Little Valley Books are made by young children. Finnoula started making books when she could hold a crayon. Her first book, Aminals Animals, is on bookshelves. She is always working on a new book. Encouraging children

to make books is a great way to foster a love of reading and writing.

To make your own animal book, follow these steps.

1. Make/print enough copies of the Book Template to match the number of pages for your book.
2. Decide on which animals you want to use by reading Aminals Animals, and doing the Animals Names Activities.
3. Write the name of each animal in upper and lower case letters on the template.
4. Draw, or color and cut out, pictures of each animal using the About Animals, Color Your Animals, or Aminals Animals book as a guide. TIP: If you print on label paper, you can make instant stickers.
5. Write facts about each animal in the speech bubbles.
6. Paste it all together on each book template page.
7. Make a cover.
8. Staple your book together.
